Hi Welcome to the Bath Folk Festival. Now moving into it's 3rd year and being cited as one of the
most exciting new folk festivals to emerge in the UK drawing on a mix of Internationally acclaimed acts and the wealth of
local talent in the Southwest.
A grass roots festival run by and for musicians & dancers who are passionate
about the rich cultures represented.
This will be an opportunity
to no only hear some fantastic music, but more importantly it will be an opportunity to learn music with our traditional music
summer school.
We currently recieve no funding and only small levels of sponsorship so a lot of hard work is involved
to put an event of this magnitude together. There will be a series of fund raising events. Details of the first of these will
follow soon
Bath folk festival 2012 will be taking
place from 13th-19th August 2012 With the summer school running Monday to Friday
It will take
place in various venues around the city. Information is just being drawn up
